Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Avril Swan integrates traditional western medicine with alternative methods when treating her patients. As a family physician, she sees patients of all ages with a range of needs, including preventative care as well as urgent and chronic concerns.

Dr. Christina Peretz is board certified in family medicine and Integrative Holistic Medicine. She has a particular interest in chronic disease management, autoimmune conditions, metabolic disorders including diabetes, and gastrointestinal problems.
Integrative Primary Care Physician
Dr. Alex Zaphiris is an integrative primary care provider who brings together the best of Western and alternative medicine to help patients restore and optimize their health.
Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine Physician
Dr. Patrick Sanger offers a highly personalized, relationship-driven model of adult primary care, blending slow medicine, preventive medicine, and healthspan-focused clinical strategy.
Our Staff
Office Manager
Gabrielle (“Gaby”) Modolo is the office manager at WholeFamily MD and is involved in all aspects of practice administration including billing, new patient outreach, and implementing and maintaining computer systems and office procedures. Gaby has been in healthcare administration since graduating from San Francisco State in 1983. She and her husband Richard are second generation San Franciscans with three lovely grown daughters.
Office Staff
Rhodora Fiorello joined WholeFamily MD in 2016 and handles front desk and patient care coordination for the office. She has been a Patient Care Coordinator for over ten years and previously enjoyed a long career in inside sales and customer service in the shipping industry. Rhodora is originally from the Philippines and has resided happily in San Francisco since 1986. She lives with her son Joseph and husband of twenty five years, Bob.

Janeya joined WholeFamily MD in 2026. She handles front desk and patient care coordination for the office.

Em joined WholeFamily MD in 2025 and manages patient medical records, scanning and other clerical work for the office. She is a native San Franciscan and is currently attending San Francisco State University.
